For growing a culinary garden featuring these herbs, you can plant the oregano, parsley, basil, sage and rosemary in the same area or container if you like. These plants all require bright sunlight and lightly moist soil. You don't want the soil to be too dry or wet. The mint should be placed in a separate container or area of your garden because it is very aggressive and can take over the area quite quickly.
